A Strip of Blue Sky

Torrential rain first thing, along with low cloud and mist.  Dried up, a touch o blue skies, mist lifting tonight.

Up early, headed to Tingwall airport with mam, but no flights to Foula.  Headed to work in the airport for a 12hr late shift.  A steady day of passengers, most flights on time, apart from ABZ 1625 flight.  Popped by Laura's on my way home, mam was in too.  Walkies with Sammy, then feet up. 

No need to water the garden today, that was some rain this morning.  It wasn't looking to be a great day, dull and overcast, but as the morning wore on, it started to brighten.  By the time I was out for lunch, there was some sunny spells, even touches of blue skies.  We have been blessed with good weather these past weeks, hopefully it will return again soon.   Looking over Grutness, Sumburgh.
