Purple loosestrife
Today was a holiday for most in Ontario – our Civic Holiday giving most a long weekend. Today, I worked on some organizing in my apartment. I’ve made many changes in it since my partner passed 9 months ago, but still more organizing needs done. But before the work, I walked around the lake and saw this flower and bee. The flower is called Purple Loosestrife. It comes from Europe and Asia and was brought to North America in the 19th century. It’s considered an invasive plant as it can take over areas where once local plants once grew. But still it’s pretty and thought you’d enjoy it.
