Monday: Departure

Here is a pre-departure shot from Atlanta.  By mid afternoon we were back in Belmopan. Barney was as delighted to see us as he could be, in his indifferent way.  

Unfortunately, the car battery seems to be flat which is a big irritant.  We’re hoping it’s that and not something more serious (given there are no real mechanics, or car parts, to speak of here.

Our journey was 39 hours door to door.  I’ve had 2 1/2 hours sleep in that time so am feeling a little other).
