A good year for the roses

A very satisfying day. Got lots of jobs done, as well as my packing.  I even managed to get an evening delivery slot with Tesco's so the cupboards are well stocked for while I'm away. Mike gets another delivery of timber tomorrow, so he's going to be busy outside.
As with every time I go away, at the last minute I think - do I really want to go and leave all this? We are so lucky to live where we do, Mike, me and Lottie. The feeling passes, I love the adventure of travelling.  It's a strange thing!
