It's parakeet time!

Yesterday Stella-Rose slept until after 9.3-am - amazing!  She was collected by her daddy late morning and we then got ready for the 'invasion' at teatime when the family arrived for a celebratory BBQ as it's Stella-Rose's daddy's birthday today.  I didn't take any photos as I was frankly too busy.
Today we had a quiet day.  I refilled the almost empty bird feeders and at around teatime we had several feathered visitors, including the now very familiar parakeets.  Today's pic is one who has learned to get out peanuts from a feeder designed for smaller birds.  They are very ingenious and acrobatic creatures, it cannot be denied whether you love them or no!
