Retaining Wall Prep

Earlier in the spring I took out the old shed that covered the pool equipment to make it easier to install a new heater.  The old shed was in fact OLD and a bit of an eyesore. The removal created a new issue though.  I needed to build a retaining wall to hold back the garden above the equipment.  Since the fence project is complete, today the retaining wall project began in earnest.  This pic is early in the day with prep underway.  The extra is an end of the day progress pic. The big rocks in the extra were part of the old wall that was falling down.  Some of the stones will be incorporated into the new project.
