We are family

Nate was distraught to leave the twins, and has cried on and off all day. At bedtime he burst into tears and declared "a bomb of sadness has exploded in my heart!" It's hard when you feel things so deeply. It's also hard for him because he knows he'll not see them again for another year. They've got on so well.
We left this lovely family and headed to another of Danny's aunties where we went out for a delicious lunch and catch up. This aunt and uncle come to Ibiza every now and then, so the kids know them quite well really, well Asha does, Covid obviously stopped the trips for a while!
It's been a gorgeous Cardiff sojourn! Home to Danny's mom and her husband.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) More family time.
2) The friendship grown between Nate, Ariana and Esmé.
3) Coming 'home' to Karen and Gary.
