Female Chaffinch

Not quite a flashy as the male but this little lady is quite lovely.
I don't see too many chaffinches ..... they are slightly more elusive than the robins and tits.

A much better day than yesterday. Opened the curtains the s,y was blue and the sun shining. Collected Holly and we headed to Pollok. Rain threatened but fortunately, a few large drops didn't cause me to run for shelter.
