Anniversary blessings

I’ve been creeping around with a very painful lower back today, which Smithers reckons was caused by sitting for three hours chatting to our friend yesterday. I think he’s right; she was sitting on my right, and I was twisting round the whole time so I could look at her. 

I have managed to do a few jobs today though, including the ironing, and I also made this anniversary card for two of our oldest friends. Smithers made a sponge cake this afternoon while I was in the craft room.

I’m really sorry that I’ve been so bad at commenting lately. I’ve lost the plot a bit, having got over tired, and need to be kind to myself for a while until I feel more perky.
