Tuesday: Bargain for 50 pence

The rain has gone and we had a dry, but very windy, day.

MrD needed to go to Bangor for “something for the pushbike”, I tagged along and we went shopping to Tesco. On the way in I spotted the very dried up tray of Lobelia plants, they would have been binned, I was offered them for 50p and soaked them with rainwater when we got home, my Mum would have said “They’ve got 2 chances” … I’ll post an update in a few days time …

Watched a couple of episodes of “Death in Paradise” this afternoon, then I deadheaded the buddleia in my front garden and enjoyed seeing a Peacock butterfly, a Red Admiral and about 5 white butterflies of assorted sizes and lots of bees everywhere too.

Late afternoon MrD called me out into the garden where there was a small but very lively young hedgehog wandering around. I soaked some kitten biscuits in warm water which the little hedgehog ate, then went undercover - will keep an eye out and maybe put food out too. SEE EXTRA.

Watched a few episodes of “Spooks” this evening …

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
