Choo-Choo...Vroom-Vroom...Whirr-Whirr
This morning began with an early train ride across Manchester to Bolton with Mum to collect her new to her car. The paperwork side of things took a while but the salesman was really lovely and he patiently went through the techy wotnot with her before we set off on the maiden voyage.
I drove us around the M60 to ashton where we stopped at a garden centre for lunch. Then, being back in familiar territory, she took the wheel and drove it home. Am proper.proud of her, she even did a reverse park with the camera, a feature.she has never had previously.
Later this evening youngest asked if I could go for a bicycle ride with her along the canal. I advised quiet streets rather than canal because of the time but she insisted so we did. On the return journey it went pitch black for the last half a mile and so it was down to our lights to lead the way. We rode past some moored Narrowboats that looked all snug. One had fairy.lights illuminating window on the bow :-)
