curns' corner

Last year, I wrote about glasses made for sitting in front of a screen. At first, I used them very rarely, but I have increasingly been using them, and I am now at the point where I can't work in front of my screens without them. I am not at the point of taking them into the office on my weekly trips, but I am certain they would help there. I can't imagine not having them on my desk to wear when in front of my screens.

After work, to Tai Chi, where the class took place outside, there's more space and a welcome breeze. On the way back, I stopped off at the corner shop to pick up the parcel that had been delivered: it's a new basket that fits inside the kitchen cupboards (like a shelf that can be pulled out). I want to use it in the bottom cupboard where the baking trays live because I am fed up with getting on my knees to extract a tray from the pile of things there. This will provide an extra shelf so that everything can be better organised, and I can pull it out, removing the need to crouch down and fumble at the back. It wasn't very heavy but much bigger than I expected. I guess it's mainly box and packaging.
