Gazing Into Space

What do herons think of when they daydream? Perhaps the one that got away and how hungry he now feels. Or maybe, it's wars, riots, elections and climate change that trouble him.

Either way, I don't think he'll catch much from that position, even with his long neck, he wouldn't reach the water, let alone a fish.

I think possibly, the warm planks feel good on the feet. Look at the size of them.
