Unperturbed
Strangely, this deer wasn't in the slightest bothered by our presence and turned around to carry on eating (I presume) down in the reeds. Normally our encounters are at considerable distance and involve the rear end disappearing at pace. Also unusual was to see one in daylight, more often seen at dusk and regularly on trail cams at night.
I did capture an image of a flycatcher, a bird new to me, but not a great shot.
