Love not Hate
Took a train ride to Manchester with youngest this afternoon. She wanted to visit Afflecks Palace. Given it is always busy and she is usually anxious, if she was in the mood then who was I to argue?
We even caught the train rather than drive which is much quicker & more convenient. And I love gawping at trains but she wouldn't let me for too long ;-D
Anyway, it was busy but fruitful...the little trendsetter bought a Gail Platt T shirt(!)
We thankfully didn't see any of the trouble as has been threatened but did exit Afflecks by the back staircase so I snapped a pic of it's message of rejecting hate in whatever form it may take (main blip)
She then dragged me into the Andale Centre (arrgghhh!!!) before agreeing to.a quiet bite to eat and a train ride home*. Then it was off to Mums to wish her a happy birthday.
( * we navigated a quiet backstreet route to the station, snapping a picture of Ducie Street Canal Warehouse and a bored teenager )
