Cynfal Halt
Same walk as yesterday, from Rhydyronen to Cynfal alongside the line, then back again by the scenic route along the lanes via Bryncrug. C, the Megs and I heard a train whistle as we approached the bridge at Cynfal and I prepared to both get a Blip and set Meg loose to run and chase the train - there's a thick, high hedge between footpath and railway. However, the train arrived slowly and stopped to allow two passengers - and their dog - to alight onto the tiny platform. So I got my blip but I Meg didn't get to chase the train as I didn't want a run in with a big dog afterwards!
Earlier I had spent a couple of hours glazing at a community pottery session and after a quiet couple of hours at home, I worked at Aber cafe this evening. They'd had an exceptionally busy day so I was on Sandwich making duty until the evening train arrived. 42 packs of sarnies in little over an hour. A nice short shift
