Down Under

This is a sneak preview of the fantastic globe that has been made for use in one of our Blackadder episodes. I draw your attention to the fact that there is no Australia or Antarctica shown, as they hadn’t been discovered in the time of Elizabeth I - the first Dutch expedition didn’t take place until four years after Elizabeth’s death, never mind Captain Cook’s voyages!
I thought it was worth a blip because it is doubtful this level of detail will be spotted by our audiences, apart from maybe the first couple of rows in the stalls.
A reasonably productive day today. A good PT session this morning produced some decent PBs and tonight’s rehearsal went well. Most of us are pretty much off the book now so we can really concentrate on the blocking and use of props. This afternoon, some judicious use of comparison websites enabled us to save nearly £100 on Mrs C’s car insurance renewal. I think we can even claim a £20 Sainsbury voucher from the comparison site as well, if we enter the new policy details.
More gym and rehearsals tomorrow.
