Upped my walking again this morning - 1.5 miles with just a single crutch from Morton to Fiskerton (by the Trent); will have a nap soon with quite possibly some achiness to follow.

Local racism - Allahu Akbar
A large bungalow now sits behind the old wharf gantry above presumably where a commercial building was once sited. You can see the public footpath marked along the river bank. The local Reform party candidate for parliament lives here I'm told. The party is headed by  headed by Nigel Farage, so the St George's cross just out of site would be consistent with this view.

Our elected local MP Conservative Robert Jenrick is a racist and leading candidate to become Conservative party leader. Only yesterday he was demonising Muslim demonstrators.. 


“I thought it was quite wrong that somebody could shout ‘Allahu Akbar’ on the streets of London and not be immediately arrested; project genocidal chants on to Big Ben and not be immediately arrested. That attitude is wrong and I’ll always call out the police for it.”


Allahu Akbar means "Love of God".
