Hot!

Thankfully I hadn't planned to go to the outdoor pool today as it was rammed. The car park was full at 9am when C and I arrived. We parked elsewhere and then went to Dance to get her a chiffon circular skirt for next year. No longer does she wear a lycra one.

We then had her feet measured for summer shoes. She tried on a lovely pair of trainers but said they hurt, but slightly altered her stance when the silver sparkly pumps were out of stock in her size! However I held firm and didn't buy them in case they really did hurt. I will get her some 'walking sandals' online.

We headed on to the library to sign them both up for the summer reading challenge and then on to swimming.

The afternoon was spent in the garden, sun tent out, pirate water toys out and to William's delight the paddling pool. Both of them played nicely for the majority of the afternoon.
