Stairs

M and I briefly visited St Albans city centre this morning. We spotted that there was a sale on at one of our favoured clothes shops. I followed M upstairs to the menswear department and couldn’t help admiring the clever use of Victorian tiles on the stair risers. I’m very fond of these decorative tiles and have a couple of them on display on my kitchen dresser shelf. I couldn’t resist a photo.

We treated J & J to lunch at St Michael’s Manor hotel today. They both did so many little things for my late stepmother and kept an eye on her for us. We wanted to say thank you.

Back to my diet now after two restaurant meals in two days.
