Some sadness in Port Alice

Today we left Telegraph Cove. Our destination Port Hardy isn't that far, so we went for a detour to Port Alice, with a stop at Marble River Park where we walked part of the Marble River Trail.

In Port Alice we had some lunch at the Foggy Mountain Coffee Co. We then drove to the trailhead of the Port Alice Seawalk. That's where today's images were made.

Today is my dad's birthday. He passed away in June so this is the first birthday without him being there. He would have loved (the images of) our adventures in Canada. We took a moment to remember him right at the shoreline of Port Alice... A bit of a sad moment, but also good to be able to do this.

We then drove to our hotel in Port Hardy. Tomorrow our last guided tour of the vacation.
