Warped Welding

The gas station in town is getting a new sign and this fellow was welding something to prepare to install it.

We were very fortunate to be missed by five tornadoes Tuesday night. The three of us sheltered in the powder room with blankets and pillows  late in the afternoon until the noisy storm passed.  The longest tornado touched down for 17.5 miles and swept 350 feet across.  It stopped just a few miles from us.  Over 250k homes are still without power and many businesses and other establishments are closed, along with most Cleveland Metroparks facilities. There is destruction all across northern and northeastern Ohio.  Many traffic lights are still not working.  We lost electricity and internet for over a day, but at least we had power, courtesy of our generator. Water and ice is being provided to the public in need in several locations. Firefighters are working overtime due to an explosion of calls for help, including individuals whose life support systems are no longer working.

Now we have flash flood warnings, so I"ll be off.

I will post backblips when I can.
