Lots of verbena in the yard being visited now by a variety of butterflies, even monarchs. 

Thanks for your concern yesterday.  We are doing fine here, but thousands are going to be without power for several days to come.  The highest winds were clocked at 86 mph.  We’re still learning details of the widespread destruction. There have been 69 tornadoes statewide so far, compared to the average of 21 per year. Seniors are struggling city-wide getting through dark apartments. Free water, ice and oxygen in canisters are being made available.
