Hanbury Hall

Another visit to a National Trust property, this time Hanbury Hall in Worcestershire.  There is a certain familiarity now we have visited a few of these properties, but each is different in their own way.  We may well revisit around Christmas as we were told that rather than an 18th or 19th century celebration, they hold a 1970s and 1980s festivities.  That should bring back some memories!

The formal gardens were very impressive, not a weed to be seen anywhere and on such a large scale.  Having volunteered in the gardens of a stately home I recognise how much work is involved in this sort of precision.
