Rufus and other friends

Shortly after 10am and Robin, Rufus and I were on our way to Didim for a couple of errands, most importantly, to the veterinary for another check up on Rufus and his very damaged tail.  The verdict was, I am delighted to report,  that his improvement continues. and so he was given an antibiotics injection and we don't have to go back until next Tuesday. Relief all round.

From the vets we went to Big Ben cafe for brunch before heading home to Akbuk where Robin spent the afternoon poolside while I watched Olympics So did Rufus, but the antibiotics seemed to make him very, very sleepy and he just couldn't keep his eyes open so I let him snooze on the sofa with his fav toy Lamb Baby plus doggy chew grabbing this cute shot shortly before he drifted off.  

This evening Robin, Rufus and I walked the short distance to Paşa restaurant on the seafront where we met colleague neighbour friends Melissa and Orhan (from Robert College Istanbul), who arrived at their villa in Akbuk earlier today. Always good to meet up with friends, we had a relaxing and enjoyable evening together, catching up on life since we last met,
