On the way back from Eriskay

This afternoon my son and family left this house they rented for two weeks and headed down to Eriskay to catch the 9am ferry to Barra.
They will leave at 7.30 tomorrow to sail from Barra to Oban. We drove down to wave them off .
It's been a rather abrupt end to our holiday together . We will leave in the morning and head up to Grimsay . We can check in to the cottage at 3pm and my sister should arrive at about 5pm.
It was so good to share these days with my family.
It has been the worst weather today - very strong winds and rain but some sunshine too.
This is a beautiful wee beach after we crossed the causeway from Eriskay to South Uist .
I will share a few extra from this evening.
