The met office weather map showed a band of heavy rain passing over here late in the morning so I waited until afternoon to go out.

I just walked to the garden centre to look in more detail at a few things I saw earlier this week. I thought this display of Rudbeckia in front of the old (Austin?) van would look good as a blip.

It was warm and sunny when I got home so I spent a while working in the garden before watching more of the Olympics on television.
