Carder Bee

I walked into town today, reminding myself to take advantage of the kind weather instead of the bus. The town centre was busy, though it's a shame there are so few shops these days, especially when there are plenty of potential customers about.

It was good to see dozens of bees about today, including this Carder Bee. However, the butterfly population is still low compared to previous summers.
