Steintor

We decided to take a trip to Bernau, a small town North of Berlin. The S-Bahn Berlin celebrates its 100th anniversary, the first electric trains went to Bernau at the beginning of August, 1924. The town is quite old and dates from the beginning of the 13th century. We visited a wee museum in the two towers featuring armour and weapons. The tower on the left also contains the town jail, a deep pit. We went to the top of the tower to enjoy a great view over the town (see extra).
