Southern Upland Way
2nd Saturday of August and our walking-group were down in the Scottish Borders today - we caught the train to Galashiels and walked a section of the Southern Upland Way, up and over to the River Tweed (see extra), and then along the river back to Tweedbank.
The main snap shows the high-point we passed on our way over to the Tweed; whereafter a visit to Tempest Brewing beckoned, before catching the train back up to the Capital.
All made for a most enjoyable day :-)
