Mother and Daughter on Show

The Canwell Show was something we tried to get to in the 2010s before Covid put pay to the event until this year.  We got there just as the rain started to fall and it kept coming down for about an hour after arrival.  Thankfully as the afternoon progressed the weather got better and better.

It was a smaller event than we remembered; they will probably need to build back up now that they have managed to put it on for the first time this decade.  We still had a great time.  The heavy horses are always a great attraction; the foal is just four months old and it was her first time being shown today.
