Tropical Storm Debby comes to town
Today was the day we were hit by the 100cm 100mm of rain from Tropical Storm Debby as it moved through the region. As such, a great deal of time was spent indoors, looking at the walls and wondering if that thing we saw at the top of the road was a truck or an ark. At least Tui made herself comfortable.
In the end, only 70mm fell. Early-afternoon, I wandered up to Navan, taking advantage of a brief lull in the deluge, and bought some vegetables. Came home, did some work, and then prepared Wiener schnitzel for dinner. Mrs. Ottawacker then drove her brother to the airport and we will park their car in our drive for the next two weeks.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a better day, weather wise.
