A Meandering Life...

On Tour

Today Matilda’s band of Morris Minors travelled north to Locomotion at Sheldon in Co. Durham. Six Morris Minors and a support van took the scenic route through villages and along an old Roman road.

Locomotion is a great place to visit, has plenty to see and is free. The bonus was the Flying Scotsman is on display at the moment.

Afterwards we made a stop to see the Darlington Brick Locomotive based on The Mallard before heading back to the campsite for a rest.

This evening we all had a lovely meal at a local restaurant where I presented a couple of prizes to members. The best on show went to the lilac convertible. The owner won two years ago for her black convertible.

Tomorrow we will head over to Saltburn…
