Wild Goats of Blue Sky Mountain

A female and her kid, they are so different to our wild goats, the chamois; and they posed nicely in the blue sky! I really didn’t think we would see these today, there were so many tourists like us near the summit as you can drive to within a 15 minute walk from it. The road is the highest paved road in North America. As we were coming down from the top I spotted the goats, then lots of people spotted me, spotting them! Paparazzi moments …

What a great area. Blue Sky Mountain (formerly Mount Evans) is the highest peak in the Mount Evan’s Wilderness in the Front Rocky Mountain Range at 4,350m. The views are spectacular, a couple of extras with some of the family who went to the top.

Again thanks for taking the time to look at my blips. It is really busy here! P.S. Just got back from a dog walk and saw the Great Horned Owl  in extra! Amazing if a long way away in the rain.
