Loveland Pass Lakes

… just under Loveland Pass itself, which is the highest mountain pass in Colorado at 3655m. A gentle walk at that altitude after a busy day, especially for Della, Graham, Lily and Nick who seem to be masterminding our 3 day trip in this area based at a lovely AirB&B in Silverthorne. Organising meals for 9 people plus Lily and Nick’s Bernese Mountain Dog! 6 of us are going to attempt a fourteener tomorrow, called Mount Massive, which involves leaving here at 4am! I think the altitude will get me, and I shall have to retreat! Help! Extra photo of the family in the AirB&B.
