Ready to roast

We always have roast vegetables with our Sunday roast. N enjoys making his selection at the greengrocers. It cooos alongside the joint. We use less than half of this on Sunday, and for the rest of the week it reheats or is delicious cold as salad.
Age Concern says we shouldn’t do any gardening today between 11am and 3pm. It is very hot outside so we don’t need telling twice! I have had a long chat on the phone with my sister this morning and it is not as fine down in Somerset.
