2nd ~ Night Out

Mr C and I fancied a chilled day at the house and offered the others a chance of ‘free time’…. A family joke where they can go off and do their own thing.  We offered to look after Hugo so Sim & Nat took O to the aquarium in Boulogne and the others went off to explore Abbeville.

The weather was cooler and overcast during the day so I read and chilled on the sofa rather than in the garden.

As we come towards the end of our holiday, we had our first and only evening out.  We headed to Le Crotoy and the sun made an appearance too.  After we had eaten O enjoyed a ride or two on the cars.  During the rides they dangle something over the rides for the children to grab.  On his second ride he managed to grab it and his prize was…. Another free ride.  He also found on his last ride that when he pushed a button he went up into the air.  Great fun!

On the drive home Josh had around 10 wild boar run out in front of them.  Natalie managed to catch a couple on video .  They were quite close to home but what a sight that must have been.
