3rd ~ Last full day

We thought we’d do something together on our last day and headed to Hesdin that looked a biggish town.  However, when we got there all the shops were closed for lunch.  So we stopped at the cafe by the bridge for a drink and ended up getting lunch too.  By this time the shops should have been open but it was like a ghost town…. And this was a Saturday too!  We did see a wedding come out of the church.

The weather was a lot cooler too.  We headed back to the house and started to pack for our return journey tomorrow.

We had light rain in the evening so for the first time of the week we had to eat indoors.  Also for the first time we all managed to play a game together in the evening.
