Blue Planet

We stopped at the Blue Planet on the way to the airport and spent a lovely morning there. I finally managed to see the sea otters -they had half-a-dozen, rescued from the wild in Alaska.  They have a big walk-through "ocean", including hammerhead sharks, but I think the star of the show was the wonderful rainforest ecosystem area, with butterflies, birds, bats, tiny frogs on the forest floor, large arapaima fish (that I'd never heard of before) in a "river", and even a couple of sloths - easy to photograph as they don't move fast ;-).
