Baptism

Thanks for all the good wishes, Bonnie's baptism went very smoothly. Our Rector used a shell which we'd brought from Rhode Island to pour the water which was rather lovely.
Josie was fascinated and behaved beautifully and Bonnie smiled at everyone as usual.
We had a "bit of a do" in the hall afterwards. That hall has been part of my life celebrations since my sister's baptism in 1960, my confirmation, our wedding, Katy and Ali's baptisms, their confirmations, a short drinks reception after Katy's wedding service, my sister's funeral and so many more.
There were around 50 people there, including lots of children present and the weather was lovely too.
Still no sleep so I'm running out of energy!
