Wet track, North Uist

Everywhere in Scotland seems to be having a summer of miserable weather.   As ever, the effect is magnified in the Western Isles ! 

(PS : Thanks to everyone on social media who sent me birthday greetings - very kind, even if I don't like to count the years !     My extra photo shows the cake, fortunately shorn of candles, which the friends  who  are with us here in North Uist for a few days kindly arranged as a surprise !).
