At last….lots of beans

This morning I went to the allotment and was pleasantly surprised to find lots of beans, both these and also more runners. I had difficulty getting them started plus slugs ate a lot but eventually the ones that have survived are cropping well.

Have spent a quiet day at home sorting out old magazines and papers. One visitor who lives in Grenada and is home for a bit. She asked me to write a reference for her to apply to become a Grenadian citizen..which I have done. This is because she has built a house out there and may want to sell it and move to the US for jobs, but that is tricky and you have to pay more tax if you do not have citizenship.
Now to watch the Olympics closing ceremony.
