A moment in time

Bletchley Park

We had a visit to Bletchley Park today, which is the decoding centre set up in WW2 and was hugely successful.   9,000 people worked there, most were women and they all had to sign the Official Secrets Act so little was known for many years.   It was a very informative visit, quite mind blowing.   Lots of information online for anyone interested.

We then went to Coventry as I was keen to see the cathedral, sadly we arrived too late and it was closed.   However we were able to take photos of the old bombed out cathedral and also the magnificent replacement.

A Japanese meal at Wagamama finished our day.   Now home and resting before meeting for drinks.

My, it's hot!!!
