Foy Walk
About 12.30pm, after a fifteen minute drive from home we arrived at St Mary's Church, Foy, nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire, UK) to do a good nine mile circular walk. A very hot day was forecast and the first couple of miles were very humid and later on the walk following the River Wye the sun was out and the temperature was over 30C.
We did take it easy, stopping a couple of times to talk and also to sit in the shade. The main photo' is taken near the end and shows a field that's just been 'baled' with a red roof house on the edge of the field.
The extra is the River Wye at Sellack where a fisherman had a swan just behind him that was there for ages that was very interested in the human's way of catching fish!
We got home and the first three pints of iced lemon water didn't touch the sides. A lovely summer's day!
