Euan Me and Rhona too!

Hot, hot, hot

Left Aberdeen early this morning to get to Glenelg in time for lunch. Travelled through some rather overcast areas before coming out in the glorious sunshine on the West Coast.

Lunch was had and then we took a trip down to the beach where we used to stay in the caravan most Easter holidays. Lots of clegs, but very few midges as we got out the car. The tide was out and some brave children were already swimming in the sea. We built some sandcastles then Euan decided he fancied a paddle, so in we went. The water was bracing, to say the least, but lovely and cooling on such a warm day.

Went into the village to get some fish from the fish van for our tea then back to make tea. Euan and Rhona devoured some pasta with philadelphia and hot smoked salmon with peas then went, exhausted, to bed. We had a scallop and black pudding starter which I have to say were cooked perfectly, then we had smoked salmon and cauliflower pasta which was yummy too. An evening chatting before bed. I just love being in Glenelg!
