Musk Mallow
A morning walk, before it got too hot, with C and the Megs, up into the light woodland almost opposite Craig Yr Aderyn, overlooking the Dysynni. There are some lovely late summer wildflowers there at the moment including lots of this mallow, Malva moschata, around the meadow below the woods.
Home for lunch and some more work on the bulb collection - this job will run on into September - before a 4pm start at Aber Cafe. Beach weather today so a quiet day on the railway but we were kept occupied by a family having a pre-booked afternoon tea. They had several different dietary requirements which made it a bit more of a challenge but they were very happy with it :-) The shift was also to cover the sunset special which tonight did enjoy a bright sunset and was possibly the busiest train of a quiet day. A day off tomorrow.
