Rowan
Passed this Rowan tree when I was out on my bike this morning and was reminded of visiting my Great Granny in Perth when I was a child. There was a huge Rowan at the end of her garden, just by the path and I used it as a landmark whenever my uncle (who lived with her) gave me some money to go to the shops for sweets. They lived in Perth and I wasn’t familiar with the area but having the Rowan to look out for always got me back safely.
Bit of slow day, after I got home from slimming group I had my breakfast and it was like I just hit a wall. Just completely exhausted. This happens every Saturday, it’s like the burnout I used to get when I was working. Very odd…
Today’s my mum’s anniversary. She died 51 years ago aged 39. It’s like she never really had the chance to grow up. Both my sons are older than she was when she died and the younger one has definitely only grown up in the last year or so. But that could just be because he’s a boy of course.
Finished painting the shed finally, so that’s another wee corner of the garden finished.
