Satisfying!

What a satisfying job to do! In my defence re how dirty these slabs are - it’s the path from the front of the house to the back door, and it’s under the massive cherry and apple trees so don’t get any light.
I was relatively unscathed this time - had on my wellies and a holiday pacaponcho, so only the bit of my legs between the bottom of the poncho and the top of my wellies was a bit manky this time.
Up early and off to Costa for a coffee and some brown toast, then a quick dash home to get ready to go out for a walk with my friend L. We knew it was The Kiltwalk today but as the main one was going from St Andrews into town and the short one was due to head off from Broughty Caste towards town at 11.30 (I checked the website) we reckoned we’d be ahead of them. We didn’t factor in them heading off half an hour early….
We didn’t get swept along by them tho, we stuck to the other side of the road and got back to the car unscathed. Well apart from the man who hobbled past us declaring that he was ‘bursting for a pee’ and headed into sone bushes we’d just passed….
Got a bit more gardening done when I got home. The water feature has been properly cleaned out and refilled and is working perfectly considering the pump is over 24 years old!
Then I got the power washer out and blasted the path and this time I was suitably covered up so just the one shower was enough to get the grime off :-)
