Small Find

It was back down the Kent / East Sussex border again for a trip to Merriments, a smallish garden centre with a glorious 4-acre garden attached. At this time of year the garden was full of flowers but once again few insects and butterflies around.  However, I did spot this small butterfly, a Small Copper.

We dropped into Bodiam Castle for a late picnic lunch but the heat was getting to all of us so didn’t bother going round the castle (the joys of membership tickets!)

Back to fending for myself Monday though I’ve just spotted a reminder from my sister’s Amazon Alexa “get Dawn’s account” … ummm … hopefully just Alexa mishearing her! :-))
