Wood Ducks Under Willow

Looking down the length of the inlet towards the lake, I spotted wood ducks resting in the evening sun under a willow. I count ten now, although most were hidden in the shadows. The water, stagnant, is covered in green algae for the most part.

Strong light catching the side of the willow tree attracted me to photograph the scene, even though the foreground algae looks insipid.
